Unit5 My New Room(英语陈丽丽)

 教学内容: Let’s start. A: Let’s learn. Let’s play.

教学目标:

1.能够听、说、读、写本课主要单词:mirrorcurtainclosetend table trash bin.

2.能够听、说、认读单词air-conditioner以及句型:Is this your…? I have …Come and look at my new ….并能在情景中运用。

3.能够和朋友交流家里的房间及摆设,能够熟练介绍各个家具,能够创造性地设计一个房间,并让同学了解房间中的各种物品,能够进行简单描述,培养学生善于观察的能力。

教学重点:curtain, closet, mirror, end table, trash bin and air-conditioner 6个家具单词及如何运用这些单词了描述自己的房间。

教学难点:单词air-conditioner的发音。

教学过程:

I.Warm-up

1.Daily greeting

 2.Let’s chant:

   Mom is in the living room. Dad is too.

   I'm in the bedroom. Where are you?

   Brother's in the kitchen. Sister is too.

   I'm in the bedroom. Where are you?

(Here are two new friends. Who are they? (Mickey and Minnie) Welcome to Minnie's house.)

 II.Presentation

1.      Show pictures and see Minnie’s study, bathroom, living room, kitchen and bedroom.

    Mickey: Is this your …?( study,bathroom,living room,kitchen and bedroom) 

    Minnie: Yes, it is. Come and look at my ….

2.      Minnie goes to the bedroomso come and look at Minnie’s bedroom.

T: What’s in Minnie’s bedroom?

S: I have a/an … in my room.( kite,clock,doll,book......)

Magic go go go! The pictures change and “What’s adding?”

Here come a mirror. Follow to read and learn the word.

   Mirror, mirror, look into the mirror.

I like        mirror. It’s     __ and    ___.

(big,small,tall,thin,fat,

  beauitful,cool,pretty,red…)

 

4.Mickey and Minnie play a game.

Mickey: Guess,guess , what’s  this?

Minnie It’s a….(mirror, trash bin)

Trash bin ,trash bin

Have some trash.

(When we have some trash, we should put them into the trash bin.)

5. Magic Minnie make the magic again.( I'm a magic Minnie, Magic ,go go go)

  Minnie make many many things: sharpener ,pencil, trash bin, curtain…

  Magic, magic,there is a......(sharpener ,pencil, trash bin, curtain)

Curtain ,curtain ,close the curtains.

 Curtain ,curtain ,open the curtains.       (It’s an end table.)

6. Picture of Mickey’s room:

The end table is on the bed so Mickey try to move it to the right place.

End table,end table,

move the end table.

7.After moving the end table ,Mickey :I’m so tired! I'm so hot.

 Minnie :Don't worry.Magic, Magic ,go go go .Here is a air conditioner. Comes an air-conditioner.

make me warm in the winter.

8.Riddle

Guess,Who am I?

9.Chant

   Mirror, mirror, look into the mirror.

   Trash bin, trash bin, have some trash.

   End table,end table, move the end table.

   Curtain, curtain, close the curtain.

10.Game:What’s missing? ”     

        “Apples for you!”

11.Let’s sing:

Come and look at my room.

This is my room, a beutiful room.

woow,a bautiful room.

12.Group work

Work in pairs, design a new room for yourself.

    Come and look at my new room. There is a/an______ and a/an________         in my room. I also have a/an_______ and a/an_______ .You can see a_______        in my room too. It’s _____ .Look at my bookshelf, many books are in it. When() the ______ open, the sunshine(阳光) come into my room I love my new room.
